Nothing provided on this site is intended to give legal advice. There are references to legal information that you may use to consult with an attorney or use as you desire. The information here relays personal experiences with the system and attempts to provide some tools to assist you in getting redress for mistreatment at the hands of dirty police/prosecutors.
Bad police/prosecutors universally prefer their dirty deeds not come under the scrutiny of public attention and go to extensive efforts to cover up these events.
The primary focus here is towards support for the victims of this misconduct, to provide a forum for the victims of police/prosecutor abuse/misconduct to state their stories and to offer some positive and assertive methods of dealing with their individual circumstances.
There is a small portion of the police/prosecutor community who choose to disregard the laws they are charged with enforcing. This page is in no way meant to disrespect the hard-working, law abiding people in these positions who faithfully serve their communities.
The "Blue wall of silence," however, tends to show the "good" cops supporting the "bad" cops so as not to betray their brethren. The "Pinstripe wall of silence" is a term invented here and relates to the dark operations of the offices of the district attorney and other prosecutors where there is found to be NO civilian control and they can do pretty much as they please. This page is not intended to "bash" all police/prosecutors - but rather to expose the dirty ones, each and every one who think they are above the law. Of course, the police/prosecutors that stand aside and allow others to engage in ethical and criminal transgressions deserve to be bashed.
We at It's For The Kids believe all police/prosecutors and the respective communities in which they operate should adopt public policy empowering an independent citizens' review organization to individually review and act upon all reports and allegations of police/prosecutor misconduct and the misconduct of all public officials. This function was traditionally within the realm of the local Grand Juries, but we see that power severely diluted by the organizations that would be investigated by the Grand Juries. In fact, in San Diego, it has been discovered recently that the Grand Jury will not even look into criminal misconduct on the part of police/prosecutors. All information contained on It's For The Kids web page is published and made available primarily to offer help and support to the victims of police/prosecutor misconduct as well as to awaken the public and our public officials to the realization that police/prosecutor misconduct occurs on a regular basis and is a threat to the freedoms and way of life of the citizens of the United States.

It must be understood that the contributors of the stories on this page are not professional writers or attorneys, just citizens that have been wronged by the police/prosecutor bad apples.

We must, however, carry the battle forward or dump the problem on our kids and grandkids. It takes only a generation for all the sacrifices made by our parents and grandparents in the name of freedom for this great nation to be lost forever. We at It's For The Kids believe we must join this battle and understand that we must suffer a little pain in the process. God bless and watch your back.
