A California non-profit corporation created to provide support for victims of police/prosecutor misconduct (prosecutions of innocent persons  just for fun ... just because they can get away with it).  Some of the more intelligent among us are just starting to see this evil trend.

and punish, certainly leads down the road to totalitarianism."

JUST TOO GOOD AND TOO TYPICAL ... CHP HARASSMENT IN SAN DIEGO COUNTY ... OF COURSE FOLLOWED BY PERJURY BY CHP ... OF COURSE WRONGDOING IS DENIED ... not typical is that they got caught ... and less typical is that the San Diego mainstream media reported it ... and even less typical is that a jury ruled against the officers

North County Times 27Apr04 story

San Diego Union Tribune 04May04 story

Check out The Twisted Badge for a great Orange County (California) article involving law enforcement personnel with their fingers deep in the cookie jar of covering up criminal activity as a "Favor" to prevent embarrassment to one of their own.  Interesting to note that the O.C. Assistant Sheriff clearly states that this is normal procedure when dealing with politicians, thus it should be ok to cover up crimes to prevent department "embarrassment".

At least in Orange County it appears that the Grand Jury will look at this criminal activity ... not in San Diego County.

INNOCENCE, PRESUMPTION OF - "The indictment or formal charge against any person is not evidence of guilt. Indeed, the person is presumed by the law to be innocent. The law does not require a person to prove his innocence or produce any evidence at all. The Government has the burden of proving a person guilty beyond a reasonable doubt, and if it fails to do so the person is (so far as the law is concerned) not guilty."

If you believe this you are horribly naive.

Jury manipulation

Prosecutors will continually crow that "... was found guilty by a jury of his/her peers ..."

Juries are lied to, manipulated, and prevented from seeing or hearing all the evidence in many cases.

We are looking up some stories relating to criminal judges to which we will post links as we can put them together.  So much incompetence, so little time to report.

Press release 01 September 2002

Press release 02 February 2003

21 February 2003 - Jury of San Diego citizens, despite testimony of all 3 defendant cops that there was absolutely no justification for engaging in any use of force, let alone a violent attack, determine this is quite acceptable behavior during 5-minute deliberation on a Friday afternoon where the choices were to deliberate, return on Monday to deliberate ... or go home.  The choice of the jury: take the easy way out and go home.  Just too typical and results in blessings from here that these jurors suffer a police beating same as the citizen who was attacked in this case.

In San Diego, the people say it is ok for the cops to beat up and gun down citizens for the cops' own entertainment.  Why is this?

For those who fought for it, freedom has a flavor the protected will never know.

Thoughts and prayers for our armed forces fighting in foreign lands against those who have a goal in life and death of destroying western civilization.

San Diego DA engages in political prosecutions!

Political prosecution: where police and prosecutors engage in manufacturing crimes to charge innocent people for the sole purpose of harassment, preventing lawsuits against police/prosecutors for their criminal misconduct and to build up the conviction statistics. See what appears to be a typical story.

Paul (never seen a cop shooting a citizen event I did NOT like) Pfingst was ousted in the November 2002 election.  We see the new San Diego DA Bonnie Dumanis (former Assistant DA and judge) continues to uphold the now traditional mode of "protect the cops, no matter what they do"

Demetrius DuBose was murdered by San Diego police officers on July 24, 1999 when they fired and struck him at least twelve times, six shots in the back and several when he was on the ground.

Federal civil trial started the week of 13 January 2003

San Diego Union Tribune story

Week of 17 February 2003 - Jury of San Diego citizens determine that the murder of Demetrius DuBose by San Diego cops was quite acceptable ... pretty sad.

We see the attorney for the guilty cops has worked the magic of the legal system, intimidated the citizens review board to relent on their decision that the cops were in error in murdering Mr. DuBose.  Details to follow.

We see some exceptionally sad trial outcomes where you probably wonder where the juries come from.  Juries come from the roles of registered voters (in California they are also taken from the drivers license and ID records ... more on this later).  If you wish to ever see a change in these juries, you must register and vote ... or completely give up your right to complain about these transgressions and the transgressions of elected/appointed persons who engage in criminal activities.

Looks like the summary of activities of a violent gang doesn't it?
This was the summary of offenses found in Bob Mullally's review
of Los Angeles Police Department internal confidential files
relating to the narrow scope of criminal activity engaged in by
LAPD Officers against wives, girlfriends and children.

Bob Mullally went to Federal prison on 14 May 2003; his crime: releasing records of the above severe domestic abuse (including rapes and beatings) engaged in by Los Angeles Police Department officers and hidden in LAPD internal files.

In the eye of the law as written, covering up criminal activity is considered a crime and police/prosecutors drool at the tooth to be able to imprison citizens for these transgressions.  Why is Judge Keller immune from prosecution, or at least impeachment, for engaging in the same crime?

We keep hoping that the legal system will stumble upon justice.

There is whistleblower protection regarding releasing information relating to monetary issues, why not for releasing information on criminal activity that is engaged in and hidden by law enforcement, prosecutors, judges and other public officials?  Ponder that!  We posed the question to Senators Boxer and Feinstein as well as Congressman Cunningham and California State Senators and Assemblymen.  The only replies so far are from Senators Feinstein and Boxer, who blew off the issue with the standard statement relating to not getting involved in issues that relate to courts ... will post the letter to elected reps and their replies as we get to it.  Your elected representatives write the laws, yet do not want to hear of the consequences and bad side of these laws.

"There's no way to rule innocent men. The only power any government has is the power to crack down on criminals.  Well, when there aren't enough criminals, one makes them. One declares so many things to be a crime that it becomes impossible for men to live without breaking laws."  - Ayn Rand  - Atlas Shrugged, Ch. III, "White Blackmail"

Pure prophecy Ayn, see the story "One in 32 adults in corrections system by end of '01"

Just think about it: should the "Government" choose to do so, every person could be charged with numerous criminal acts as they go through their normal daily activities.  Much more frightening is the fact that the prosecutors would get away with a conviction in the majority of cases ... even if it were known that the person was innocent.

The number of people we have in prisons and with criminal records is appalling and unnecessary in a significant number of cases.

ALMOST EVERY DAY WE ARE SEEING INNOCENT CITIZENS RELEASED AFTER MANY YEARS IN PRISON.  It is absolutely insane to assume that the prosecutors in many of these cases did not know they were prosecuting innocent persons.

It has been acknowledged by Supreme Court Justice Sandra Day OConnor that "... there is a distinct possibility that we have executed innocent persons ..." ... well, DUH!  Of course it has happened.

Have you ever seen police/prosecutors go to jail, or even be fired for  manufacturing a "Crime" against a citizen?  We did not think so!

We see continual instances where prosecutors "give a break" to an innocent person and allow him/her to "plea to a lesser charge" rather than going for the real big lies in court in efforts to get a conviction for a larger crime that did not exist ... happens all the time.

The legal argument prosecutors put forth to insist they are immune from accountability for their own criminal activities:

"In addressing the issue of whether common law immunities should apply to prosecutorial conduct that is alleged to be improper, unethical and perhaps even criminal, the U.S. Supreme Court in Imbler, 424 U.S. at 427, 428 held in favor of absolute immunity."

We got another cop beating on tape ... thousands of incidents and we finally get another one on tape.

Inglewood cops pick up kid already in handcuffs, on his face on the ground ... the incident was over, the kid neutralized and the cop picks the kid up and slams his face down on the trunk of the cop car.

The cops, of course, arrest the photographer.  It is shown in the Sheriff’s segment on this site that cops and prosecutors will bring a person into court that has a non-release bench warrant out for his arrest, allow him to testify for them, then release him.  A couple story links:

2 Inglewood Officers Plead Not Guilty to Felony Counts

Rotten at the top

Trial completes in the Stephanie Crowe murder case (of course the real trial will be where the guilty cops and others face federal civil trial): Richard Tuit, a mentally disturbed young man found guilty ... but just how much can we trust the prosecutors who not long ago were totally sold that the brother of Stephanie, and 2 of his friends, killed her?

After years of bungling, mistreatment of citizens, interrogating juveniles for days without parent or attorney knowledge, denials and cover-ups on the part of Escondido Police, San Diego DA and San Diego Sheriff.

California Attorney General's office prosecuted ... no warm and fuzzy feeling here.  The AG, as shown in documents on this site, engages in cover-ups for Sheriff and DA criminal misconduct.

San Diego DA still insists, despite being faced with DNA evidence, that their original charges against Stephanie's brother and friends are valid.  The main problem with the DA, as well as all prosecutors is they generate an assumption of guilt then it becomes a personal battle between attorneys in which the DA refuses to be swayed by facts and evidence.  It does not matter to prosecutors if they prosecute and imprison innocent persons.  When presented with facts and evidence that disproves their assumptions, prosecutors will willingly and deliberately work to discredit, deny, hide or obfuscate those facts and evidence.

San Diego Union Tribune case stories

Of course, at this point where police/prosecutors have screwed up things to such an extent that they are looking at "Any way out", it is difficult to believe anything they say.

San Diego DA's office is desperately in need of a Federal/State/county Grand Jury probe.  When over 60% of the prosecutors in the DA's office publicly state "no confidence" in the DA, and cite corruption and politics (we mentioned political prosecutions above) we got a real problem.  Where the DA, as shown on this site, refuses to address official complaints of internal criminal activity, there is a serious problem.

Story from 16May02 San Diego Union Tribune

Why is the media, who eternally cry over "Freedom of the press", so afraid of exposing criminal cops and prosecutors?

Most of the stories found on this site have been submitted to the media. If the story does not follow the political agenda of the press, it is not reported, this is a given and shows clearly the fact the mainstream media is a political organization completely out of touch with the foundations of the United States of America.  But what part of the political agenda of the media supports egregious misconduct on the part of police/prosecutors?

We see CBS, totally caught in the act of promoting fraudulent documents in an effort to sway a national election, staunchly supporting those documents ... the tap dance is amazing.

The credibility of the mainstream media is essentially dead, seems that honesty and integrity is now only found in talk radio and internet blogs.

We struggle to maintain the attitude that the vast majority of cops are honest and abide by the law.  This thought is severely shaken on a daily basis where we see consistent refusal by authorities to deal with serious problems.

However, if you are just looking to "Bash" cops, go somewhere else.

If you are looking to hold criminal police/prosecutors accountable for their criminal actions through legal means, we hope you will find some help here.

Police/prosecutors, welcome!  We know you are checking in here.  If you learn something to prevent further events of police/prosecutor criminal misconduct we will have fulfilled a goal.  If you are looking for ways to polish your skills at criminal misconduct and cover-ups, shame on you ... you eventually must pay the price.  You are destroying our country, our legal system and our faith in what was once the best legal/criminal justice system in the world.

Of course, keeping that in mind, we see that San Diego PD has seen fit to gun down quite a number of people for questionable reasons in the year 2002, multiple fatalities.  One fatal for allegedly attacking the cop with a rock.  One fatal for a mentally disturbed person attacking a fast-food place with a shopping cart or something ... took something like 39 rounds by 7 cops ... wonder how many were in the back while he was on the ground; it has been reported that this event was taped by someone, we certainly hope that the only copy of the tape did not go to the cops (look in below info regarding destruction of evidence by Sheriffs).  One person shot in the back because he was "Pulling a gun"; however, reports are that the shooting victim was pulling his hands out of his pockets under orders and was trying to throw a gun away.  Another was where the victim was attacking with an "Imaginary gun"; guess the cops could not find any rocks, screwdrivers or anything else around they could refer to as a "Weapon".  The latest of a guy with a brick (???)    SAD ... SAD ... SAD

San Diego DA Bonnie Dumanis, following the tradition of Paul (Never seen a cop shooting a citizen event I did not like) Pfingst appears to be willing to rubber-stamp her approval on these  shootings.  The "In depth" investigations require the paperwork to sit on someone's desk for an additional several weeks before rubber-stamping them as "Good shootings".

National City, not to be outdone has quietly fired a cop who shot a citizen in the back while the citizen was running away ... no apparent threat, just running away.  The citizen died in the hospital.  Police and DA, of course for reasons you will find on this site, refuse to prosecute and pointedly refuse to state that this murder of a citizen was unjustified.  We will try to decypher some of this babble for you in various places on this site.

You are exceptionally vulnerable to crooked cops who can and do  manufacture crimes against citizens on a regular basis and get away with convictions ... just your word against theirs.

The only way to get a grip on what occurs in these events is to wire the cops for video and sound, the technology has been here for years, it has just gotten smaller and cheaper.  Who most vigorously opposes the accurate recording of police - citizen encounters?  The cops of course!  Why is it that the cops try to get all people away from a scene?  No, it is not for citizen safety; the cops do not want witnesses that may contradict the stories they may manufacture later to cover themselves.

Take time to attend the budget meetings for local law-enforcement, insist on money to be budgeted for audio and video recording devices to be carried by all on-duty cops.  Point out that it is for the safety of the officers too and that the cost of preventing one bad lawsuit or the protection of a bad cop will more than pay for the devices.

Question how much money goes into police public affairs which tends to supply a person to put police "Spin" on every questionable act (by a person not near the scene) then whine when another party (eyewitness) provides a contrary view.

Its For the Kids is dedicated to the concept that we must leave a better world for our kids and grandkids, a world free of criminals hiding behind the "Blue", "Pinstripe" and "Black" walls of silence.

The Beginning, Disclaimer

Let we in San Diego never forget Cara Knott,  victim of the ultimate police brutality where an on-duty CHP Officer pulled her over, ordered her to drive down a darkened road and murdered her.  Let us also not forget her father Sam, the intrepid fighter for the rights of victims.

God bless them both, they are together again.

It's For The Kids, Inc is located in San Diego North County.  The locals in San Diego try to consider themselves completely isolated from Los Angeles and the activities of the LAPD Rampart Division, but this is commonly referred to as burying one's head in a dark place.  For many in the police/DA community, creating a criminal out of an innocent citizen is a game that they play because no one is able to challenge them.  We at It's For The Kids do not believe that this is a legacy to pass to our kids and grandkids.

Police, although obligated by law to arrest a cop for criminal activities, will regularly hide these criminal events in internal files to prevent an arrest which puts the events on the public record.  You have heard the police officials  scream that the police should never be forced to release internal files; of course, that is where they hide criminal acts.

For the citizen attempting to bring attention to criminal police/prosecutor misconduct it can be an exceptionally lonely world.

Several years ago Bob Mullally was searching through records of cases of domestic abuse engaged in by LAPD officers.  In a large number of these cases LAPD was obligated to arrest the criminal cop.  LAPD, supported by numerous "brother" agencies, opted to ignore the law and hide the criminal events  in internal LAPD files that are very difficult to access even via court order.  Yes, police/prosecutors will modify, hide, destroy evidence if it is in their personal interests to do so even if it results in the convictions of innocent people or allows cops guilty of serious crimes to remain on the job.  Bob Mullally revealed these records to various agencies that he felt should know what was going on including the Los Angeles Police Commission and the media.   LAPD Chief Bernard Parks, instead of going after the criminal cops, went after Mr. Mullally for releasing the records.  Bob Mullally, more info.

It is shown over and over that police go to great extremes to cover up events of criminal misconduct by hiding records of these events in internal files.  At the same time they put forth the facade that their Internal Affairs' investigations will take care of police misconduct, the IA folks are covering up and preparing the criminal cop to defend a civil action.  See below link to Citizens' complaints.

It is unfortunate to find that the only place the citizen has a "chance" at a legal hearing of complaints of police and prosecutor criminal misconduct is in federal civil court under the heading of civil rights violations.

And, of course, this "chance" is very slim.  You are fighting Government police, Government attorneys, Government judges and you are paying for all of them.

San Diego DA frames citizen to cover for Sheriff attack

Police/prosecutors and the willing accomplices in the mainstream media try to put forth the erroneous concept that there is a lawyer waiting on every street corner to take your case where you have been victimized by police/prosecutor criminal misconduct.  This is not the case.  If you can get public attention to your case this is great, for the rest of us, we are on our own.....accept it, carry on the fight and try to believe that justice will overcome evil ..... eventually.  Just to see one prosecutor put in prison for manufacturing a case against a citizen is a real dream ... they are arrogant enough that we believe it may happen.

DO NOT GIVE UP HOPE

DO NOT GIVE UP THE FIGHT

Police/prosecutor – This term will be used extensively as the two groups are essentially joined at the hip.  The terms become a little generic because there are a lot of law enforcement agencies and, at least in San Diego, the City Attorney prosecutes criminal charges.  It is allowable in San Diego Superior Court for a non-lawyer to prosecute cases in behalf of the San Diego City Attorney, yet a citizen is not allowed to prosecute a criminal case against criminal public officials.

Here is one of the most frightening and true reports of police/prosecutor criminal activities we have ever seen published in a newspaper.  You should insist that your local newspaper make arrangements and publish this article: Police credibility

Give exceptionally loud and long support for those honest cops that put themselves seriously at risk to expose criminal cops, they are very few in number and they truly deserve our support.  It is very unfortunate that we find cases of former cops who left the various agencies because their values would not allow them to support the criminal cops and they could find no support for cleanup by their superiors in the departments.

We are trying to supply some tools here to assist you in the endeavors to rid society of criminal police/prosecutors.  An ultimate goal here is to have the tables turned where the bad cops fear the good cops, not the other way around.  It is unfortunate that you as a citizen must take on this task on your own, police/prosecutors are totally incapable and uninterested in cleaning up their ranks; they thoroughly enjoy this tremendous power of being able to freely commit crimes, for which you as a citizen would be jailed, then convict and imprison innocent people to cover up for their crimes.

Bad cop news stories

In San Diego in 2002, SDPD shot and killed an amazing number of citizens for very questionable reasons.  There are so many incidents, it is difficult to keep up with the stories, we have posted a very few of them here.  If you find a good link, please forward it.

Even in light of the Islamic terrorists' attack on our country with the sole purpose of committing murder and mayhem on our citizens, local law enforcement agencies still refuse to hold and turn over to federal authorities persons they find illegally in this country....  "Eeez not my job; it is much more fun and less risky to beat up and prosecute innocent citizens; some of these terrorists are dangerous and may fight back".

In San Diego it is reputed that local law enforcement distributed flyers in the communities of known illegal aliens stating that the police would "turn their heads" regarding illegal aliens and make no effort in assisting federal officials' enforcement of federal immigration law.  If any person locates one of these flyers, it would be appreciated if it were sent to the address below.

Talk show host pages.  These are generally conservative and thus pretty much refuse to believe the extent of police/prosecutor misconduct occurring all around them. They do, however, need to know about the problems of police/prosecutor misconduct.  All of the following have been informed to some extent of events described in this web site.  Beat them up, we at It's For The Kids subscribe to the fact that "ignorance is curable, stupidity is forever":

Michael Reagan is very good in national events.

In San Diego there is the very knowledgeable (bills himself as a recovering politician and recovering lawyer, but is struggling through the early recovery steps) Roger Hedgecock.  Roger really gets into things and has no problem telling it like he feels it is.  We continue to work on him to demonstrate the degree of police/prosecutor misconduct that occurs, but it is a hard sell (see above regarding "Recovering lawyer").  However, we must question someone who solidly backed Paul (never seen a cop shooting a citizen event I did NOT like) Pfingst.

The one person that has a real fire in his belly and no illusions that there are terribly crooked people in all the institutions where we need honesty and credibility is Michael Savage.  Michael is absolutely right: "Borders, Language and Culture" is what holds a country together.  Unfortunately we see that Michael has set up a defense fund for the criminal cops who beat up the kid in Inglewood (more above).

Conservatives have a difficult time realizing that police/prosecutor misconduct is running rampant.  Call and/or Email Roger, Michael and Michael, tell your story, refer them to some of the related links you have found on the web, be as positive as you can, copy us here.  If you find a good link, send it to us.

Liberals are reputed to control the media, it is very troubling to see that the media is unwilling to take criminal police/prosecutors to task.  Maybe concerns regarding "Skeletons in the closet"?
