The internet is the future for truth, our challenge is to separate out the truth from the rest of the garbage. The mainstream media has abdicated their responsibilities for providing news and truth and has instead become the propaganda arm of various political causes. It is very difficult to understand why they lean so far toward socialism.
You will find that the media as a whole is a self-serving community. Generally, if you do not have a dead body, a lot of blood, a riot or video/film of an event, there is little interest.
You might, however, encounter what is known as a "Slow news day" and your story may get used. If there is another story that has the elements described in the above paragraph, your story may get press as an associated story. It is very hit or miss, but keep the stories flowing.
